Yucca gloriosa is commonly known as the Spanish dagger or Palm lily. It is a tough evergreen plant that is compact and slow-growing. It has sword-shaped, spiky, narrow green leaves that are edged with yellow and pink detail. The white bell-shaped flowers rise above the foliage in late summer.
