Anthurium clarinervium is quite a rare find. It's heart-shaped leaves are a deep forest green with a velvety surface. And, with the right conditions, they'll display a strange white/orange "flower" for you.

About Giant Laceleaf

History

Anthurium Clarinervium is a realtevly 'new' houseplant. It was first discovered 70 years ago in the 1950s in a small region of southern Mexico, at an elevation of 2500-3800 ft.

Cultivation

Anthuriums Clarinervium is native to Chiapas (Mexico), where it thrives in tropical humidity and warmth. Like most Anthuriums, Clarinervium is epiphytic, meaning they grows on other trees.

Care

Anthuriums Clarinervium like bright, indirect sunshine and do not like direct sun rays, except in the winter months. Their soil should be kept moist, with only the top few centimetres of soil drying out between watering. Anthuriums Clarinervium enjoys humidity and should be misting regularly. In the spring and summer, Anthuriums Clarinervium like to be fed with a liquid fertiliser every two weeks or so. Spent blooms should be pruned to encourage new flowering.
