Cyclamen are a popular, winter-flowering house plant sure to bring some interest and colour into your home over the festive period. The delicately marbled, heart-shaped leaves form a bed of dense foliage from which impressive red flowers reach.
Height is measured from the bottom of the plastic nursery pot (please allow a +/-10% variance). Diameter is the nursery pot diameter, so to get a pot that fits, the pot diameter should be bigger.

I prefer a cooler, bright spot away from direct sunlight.
Keep my soil moist, but do not overwater me, I hate soggy soil.
A north or east-facing windowsill will suit me perfectly.
Keep me in a cool spot out of direct sunlight.
Records of cyclamen date back as early as the 4th century BC in Persia, now Iran. The name comes from the Greek Kuklos which means circle. There are over 20 species of Cyclamen that bloom worldwide.
Though the plant dies back in Spring through to Summer, the tubers can be stored and replanted in Autumn. Tubers can last as long as ten years, meaning you will have winter flowers for years to come.
Cyclamen prefer a cool, light spot away from heat sources and intense sun. Keep the soil damp, but not wet and feed once a month during Autumn and Winter.
Cyclamen are often given as a gift to show love and affection.
If ingested this plant can be toxic or poisonous so keep away from dogs, cats or other pets and small children.
