How to look after me

I like bright rooms but keep me out of direct afternoon sunshine.

  • Water

Water me when the top few inches of my soil has dried out a little.

  • Food

Feed me once a month in spring and summer.

  • Climate

Mist my leaves occasionally, and to grow I need the temperature to be above 18°C.

  • Other Maintentance

Wipe my leaves every few weeks to remove dust.

Things to look out for

  • Look Out

    Non-perforated leaves

New leaves will not always be perforated, if older leaves are not perforated make sure your Monstera has enough light, humidity and it is warm enough.
  • Look Out

    Yellow leaves

A potential sign of overwatering, reduce watering and check for root rot.
  • Look Out

    Leaf edges turning brown

This may be due to low humidity, increase humidity and move away from any heat sources (e.g. radiators).
