Bird of ParadiseFrom £48
My large paddle-shaped leaves on my long elegant stems make me a standout piece almost anywhere in the house - and I love sunny spots!
In the wild I can break out into a fantastic bloom of white flowers, but it can take a number of years for me to reach full maturity.
The Stem Pledge
To see me at my best
I love humidity and bright light - in the warmer Summer you can even move me outside so I can soak up those rays.

The table gives a guide to the size of this plant and how it will fit into your space. Height is measured from the bottom of the plastic nursery pot (please allow a +/-10% variance). Diameter is the nursery pot diameter, so to get a pot that fits, the pot diameter should be bigger.
How to look after me
I love the sunshine - you can put me in direct light, just be careful with the hottest summer rays.
Water liberally when the top of my soil is dry but don't let the soil become wet; water me much less in winter.
Feed me once a month in spring and summer.
I like regular misting and prefer temperatures over 20°C.
Wipe my leaves every few weeks to remove dust.
